Band Parent Meeting – 4/15/24
The next Coventry Band Parent Association meeting will take place on Monday, April 15, 2024 at 7pm in the CHS Band Room at 7:00pm. We will vote for the officer position up for election, organize plans for the end or the 23-24 school year, the 2024 summer, and the 2024 marching band season. We would love to see folks at the meeting.
(Jazz Band/Optional) 4/20/2024 – Dinner and Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra Concert
This event is for Coventry Jazz Band students and a couple other students who let me know they wanted to go. Students received a permission slip that needs to be turned in on 4/10/2024. We will have dinner at Spaghetti Warehouse and then go to an open rehearsal and the concert. Transportation and the concert ticket are provided. Dinner will be $20 per student which includes a drink, meal, and tip.

April 23, 2024 – CHS Symphonic Band Concert
The Coventry Symphonic Band’s final concert of the year at CHS will take place in the auditorium at CHS and will begin at 7:00pm on Tuesday, April 23, 2024.
April 25, 2024 McDonalds Dining-to-Donate Fundraiser
Support the Coventry Band by purchasing dinner from the McDonalds on Manchester Road (3273 Manchester Rd, Akron, OH 44319) in Coventry. Bonus tip – ordering online from the app rather than in person at the store or drive through earns us a higher percentage.

May 2, 2024 – Coventry Middle School Band Concert
Join us for the CMS End of year band concert featuring the 5th, 6th, and 7th/8th Grade Bands. The concert will begin at 6:30pm and will take place at CHS in the aditorium.
May 11, 2024 – CHS Band End-of-Year Banquet
This year’s Band Banquet will take place on Saturday, May 11, 2024. The banquet will begin at 2:00pm and will take place at the Mane Barn at Nickajack Farms. The address is: 2955 Manchester Ave. NW North Lawrence, OH 44666. A meal will be provided for those who RSVP using the link below. Following the meal, we will recognize the accomplishments of the amazing students of the Coventry High School Band Program.
Please complete the RSVP form by 4/26/2024 in order to let us know you are coming so we can have a meal for everyone.
May 15, 2024 – Jazz and Funk Band Concert
Join us for the Jazz and Funk Band’s final concert of the year on Wednesday, May 15th at 7:00pm in the CHS Auditorium.
May 21, 2024 – Graduation
The Coventry High School Symphonic Band will perform at the 2024 Coventry High School Graduation Ceremony. Graduation will be at 7:00pm and will take place at the Akron Civic Theatre this year. More details to come.
June, 8, 2024 – 3rd Annual Coventry Band Golf Outing
