The Coventry High School Symphonic Band is the top instrumental ensemble at Coventry High School known for its success and achievement in the past. The Symphonic Band is an auditioned ensemble that performs a wide variety of musical repertoire. In the ensemble, students focus on the development of tone, rhythmic accuracy, balance, blend and the many other skills required to perform music at a high level. The CHS Symphonic Band performs at several concerts throughout the school year. In addition to the school concerts, the Symphonic Band also participates in Ohio Music Education Association’s (OMEA) Large Group Adjudicated Events. Most recently, the Symphonic Band performed at OMEA’s State Large Group Adjudicated Event in 2022 and received a rating of Superior!
