Due to the track being resurfaced the track and practice field will not be Available for rehearsals throughout the weeks of 9/9 & 9/16. Because of this the football team, band, and soccer teams have one space Available for Practices and games. Everyone is doing their part and shift schedules slightly so that we can all get our normal practice time.
The following changes have been made to our rehearsal schedule.
Practice on Thursday 9/12/2024 will now take place from 4:30pm-6:45pm at the high schools stadium.
Practice on Thursday 9/19/2024 will now take place from 2:00-4:15pm. Students will be called out of class at 1:45pm (the beginning of 7th period) to come to the band room and out to the stadium for class. Students will be responsible for making up any missed work during 7th period. I would much rather not ask students to miss another class for this rehearsal, but with band practice, football practice and a soccer game at 7pm all needing to happen on the same evening, there does not seem to be another option.
*** The rehearsals on Mondays during these weeks will remain as normal and as scheduled.
Students – please do everything you can to adjust your schedules to be present at the rehearsals. You flexibility and willingness to make this work is greatly appreciated.
PLCC students – The Coventry admin will be communicating with PLCC admin to let them know that you should be excused to attend the rehearsal on 9/19 from 2:00pm-4:15pm.
